05/09/09 - Lots going on!
First off, the long-awaited theatrical release for Amin Matalqa's Captain Abu Raed is finally upon us! In July the film will open in Seattle, San Francisco, Berkley and Denver, followed in June/August by New York City, Washington DC, Detroit, Dearborn and Boston. Many other cities will opening around that time as well, with specific announcements forthcoming. A huge thank you, as always, to NeoClassics Films for believe in our labor of love. BSX Records will be releasing the soundtrack this coming June!
Also, Paul Solet's fantastically unnerving psychological horror Grace had a phenomenal opening at Sundance in January and has been lighting up the festival circuit ever since. A release date has not yet been announced, but the film be hitting theaters later this year! The teaser trailer has been added below.
Knuckle Draggers, the absolutely wonderful comedy directed by Alex Ranarivelo has recently had its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival, with several more screenings on the way. Following that the film be released, with details to be announced later. The official trailer has been posted below.
